Edizioni MAMbo has been created in 2008 as a natural evolution of the publishing activity of the Museo d'Arte Moderna di Bologna, thanks to the stimulation given by the need of being able to design, project and publish volumes representing the scientific project, the mission and the operational practice.

The possibility of taking care of every single aspect of its own publishing projects – from the choice of the titles to the care dedicated to delicate technical aspects – represents for the Institution a challenge and a further opportunity to bring the museum “out of the box” highlighting its dynamic role in documentation and deepening.

The publications of the Museo d'Arte Moderna di Bologna accompany the big exhibitions set up in these spaces, always a result of a lively dialogue never taken as granted with artists, with books characterised by different layouts according to the different artistic intents and projects of the curators.

Among the first editions of the museum we would like to present the volumes dedicated to Giuseppe Penone, Seth Price and the Instant Book of the exhibitions of Giuseppe Penone and Gilberto Zorio.
